I was pleased with this sweater prior to washing it. i appreciated that there was a disclaimer about the sweater running large, so i ordered a small and found it was a good fit. however, after washing it, the shape of the sweater did not hold up well. the fabric doesn't lie flat between the buttons and just looks completely sloppy. for $69, i expect much better quality than this and am highly disappointed. it's a shame as i would have ordered it in other colors had the quality been better.

The fit of this is berry baggy across the top half so it does not sit well across the chest. the quality is poor especially after washing, no body at all. disappointing

Cut all wrong

I had the same experience as the other reviewer. bought 2 lovely cardis in blu and fuschia and loved them so much i ordered the black . the cut is all wrong it fits well from the waist down but accross the bust and under the arms is far too big and unflattering seems to be 2 different sizes . i have worn it a few times but have now put it in the charity bag . its just awfull and a waste of money.

unflattering cut

I ordered a very similar cardi in fuchsia this spring and loved it. Since that one was medium, I ordered this one in medium as well and ripped the tags off and washed it before realizing that it s cut very differently from the first sweater and does not fit me. It is much wider around the bust and below the underarm seam, so there is a lot of extra material flapping around and it is baggy and wrinkly around the chest area. I should have been more careful about trying it on first but I have always been a medium at LTS, never a small until now. I m giving it 2 points only because it would be a good sweater without this flaw but that is too generous because I can t imagine that this would fit anyone well unless they are tall, slim and have a very large chest measurement.
