I cant take these off
I read the previous review and bought these with trepidation. I have never taken the time to write a review but considering how much i love these, and how i almost didn't buy them because of the previous review.. i thought i would be helping out others who are looking! I never figured these for snow boots... i figured they were cute, and warm and ok for mild wet weather. When i want weather boots, I get rubber boots and nothing I really like for the style. These are perfect. They are my go to, every day, every occasion boot. I wear them with skirts, with pants, and as slippers around the house. The sheepskin is awesome. They are uber warm . I highly recommend.
Kelly would recommend this product to a friend.
Not a great outdoor boot
I ordered these boots as they looked suitable for outdoor wear during winter. I am pleased with the appearance and they feel well-made for what they are, but they are not ideal for outdoor walking, regardless of the season. They have a thinnish rubber sole that is not much thicker than the no-slip sole on my mocassin-style indoor slippers. I feel every single pebble and bump in the outdoor terrain (sidewalks, parking lots, etc.). Without arch support or any interior structure, they don't support or cushion the foot or ankle and I quickly experienced a flat-footed sensation and general lower-extremity fatique. Even over a short distance, outdoor walking was uncomfortable due to the thin sole. The black suede and fringe is eye-catching and nice, and the shearling interior is plush and warmish and I feel good that my money supports an Aboriginal manufacturer - they DO look and feel like an authentic mukluk. But they certainly were not a comfy, supportive walking boot for any season. I'm going to keep them and restrict their use to outtings that require no walking. But unfortunately will have to find different footwear for winter outtings.
